Queensland's timber industry and the Queensland Government have created a plan to establish a road map for the future of the State's forest and timber industry.
Timber Queensland, Government and industry stakeholders implemented a five step consultative process to ensure broad buy in and ownership of the Plan.
The Plan was presented to Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry John McVeigh on 6 December 2012. The Government provided their response which endorsed the 27 actions in the Plan on 5 December 2013.
