Event Program
Fit for All Purposes: specifying timber species is a must attend for building professionals who want to upgrade their technical knowledge and learn what to use and where. This webinar will deliver the information specifiers need to help select the most appropriate timber species for a project, and to understand the necessary maintenance regimes that will impact that project's service life.
Winner of the 2020 Australian Timber Design Award, the Marrickville Library is a testament to good specification decisions that seamlessly pair contemporary architectural design with the original building's heritage elements. Participants will hear how architects BVN used ten kilometres of timber, combining a tapestry of different hardwood and softwood species with CLT and other engineered wood products, to create an award-winning and inspiring structure.
This webinar is free for all TQ members and non-members. CPD points are available.
Time: 11.00 am - 12.20 pm AEST (Brisbane time)
