Get Social & Get Started: nailing your social media strategy and implementation

Event Type: Seminar
Date: Thursday 14 July 2022
Location: Webinar via Zoom.

Event Description

Timber Queensland's presents this webinar to help forest and timber industry businesses establish a successful social media strategy.

Event Program

People are 20% more likely to buy into a brand's product or services if they can connect with them on social media first, and 71% of consumers who have a good online experience with a business via social media are likely to recommend it to others (Geek 2022 statistics).

Its clear that building an online "home" today is more than just a website - establishing a social media presence makes good business sense. For businesses across the forest and timber sectors, it will also enable your business to take advantage of freely available industry campaign content - like The Ultimate Renewable - that promote the green, sustainable and carbon-friendly benefits of timber.

Timber Queensland has developed this online workshop to help your business establish and run a successful social media strategy.

Amy Ward, CMO & Head of National Brand Experience Practice, and Social Media Marketing specialist Megan Clough at Integral will lead a workshopping session around nailing your strategy and implementation: choosing a platform, knowing your audience, mastering your tone of voice and telling your unique brand story with easy-to-create content.

The workshop will also give advice from QDAF for moderating your audience, and demonstrate what an exceptional social presence looks like with take home ideas you can emulate from successful industry examples.

This workshop is free for Timber Queensland members, with a small charge for non-members. We recommend 1-2 staff members from your office/administration or communications/marketing team, who are running or would like to run your social media accounts, attend this workshop.

Member tickets available to book below. You will receive a Zoom webinar link upon confirmation.
